তাই অব্রাহামের ভৃত্য তাদের বাড়ীর ভেতরে গেল| উটগুলোর থেকে বোঝা নামাতে লাবন তাদের সাহায্য করল এবং উটগুলোকে খাবারের জন্য খড়ও দিল| লাবন তারপর সেই ভৃত্য ও তার লোকেদের পা ধোওযার জন্য জল দিল|
