কিন্তু তারপর এই সব লোক কনানের চমত্কার রাজ্য়ে প্রবেশ করতে অস্বীকার করে| ওরা বিশ্বাস করেনি য়ে, ওই দেশে (কনানে) বসবাসকারী মানুষদের পরাজিত করতে ঈশ্বর ওদের সাহায্য করবেন|
