এরপর যীশু সেই অন্ধ লোকটিকে বললেন, ‘শীলোহ সরোবরে গিয়ে ধুয়ে ফেল৷ (‘শীলোহ’ অনুবাদ করলে এই নামের অর্থ ‘প্রেরিত’৷)’ তখন সে গিয়ে ধুয়ে ফেলল আর দৃষ্টিশক্তি লাভ করে ফিরে এল৷
