অবীমেলক তাঁর লোকজন নিয়ে গাল ও তার সেনাবাহিনীকে তাড়া করলেন| গালের লোকরা শিখিম শহরের ফটকের দিকে পালিয়ে গেল| পালিয়ে যাবার সময় তাদের মধ্যে অনেকে নিহত হল|
