গিদিয়োন প্রভুর কথামতো দশ জন ভৃত্য নিয়ে কাজটি করলেন| কিন্তু তাঁর মনে ভয় হল যে, বাড়ির লোকরা আর শহরের সবাই তাঁর কাণ্ড দেখে ফেলবে| অথচ প্রভুর নির্দেশ তাঁকে পালন করতেই হবে| কাজটা তিনি দিনের বেলায নয়, রাত্রিতেই করলেন|
