তিনি যখন জানতে পারলেন য়ে হেরোদের শাসনাধীনে য়ে অঞ্চল আছে যীশু সেখানকার লোক, তখন তিনি যীশুকে হেরোদের কাছে পাঠিয়ে দিলেন, কারণ হেরোদ তখন জেরুশালেমেই ছিলেন৷
