তোমরা আবার একথাও বলে থাক, ‘কেউ যদি যজ্ঞবেদীর নামে শপথ করে, তাহলে সেইশপথ রক্ষা করার জন্য তার কোন বাধ্যবাধকতা নেই ৷ কিন্তু কেউ যদি যজ্ঞবেদীর ওপর য়ে নৈবেদ্য থাকে তার নামে শপথ করে, তবে তার শপথ রক্ষা করার জন্য সে দায়বদ্ধ রইল৷’
