যিহোশূয় তাঁর লোকদের শহর ধ্বংস করার সংকেত দিতেই অয় শহরের দিকে বল্লম উঁচু করে ধরেছিলেন| শহরের সমস্ত লোক বিনষ্ট না হওয়া পর্য়ন্ত যিহোশূয় এভাবেই দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন|
