মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা যা পারে নি তা ঈশ্বর সাধন করলেন; কারণ আমাদের স্বভাবজাত দুর্বলতার জন্য মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা শক্তিহীন ছিল৷ তাই তিনি তাঁর নিজের পুত্রকে আমাদের মত মনুষ্যদেহে পাঠালেন, য়েন তিনি মানুষের পাপের জন্য বলি হন৷ ঈশ্বর এইভাবে সেই মানবীয় দেহে পাপকে মণ্ডিত করলেন৷

The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.

The law was without power because it was made weak by our sinful selves. But God did what the law could not do: He sent his own Son to earth with the same human life that everyone else uses for sin. God sent him to be an offering to pay for sin. So God used a human life to destroy sin.
