উপদেশক 2:26

এক জন মানুষ যদি ভাল কাজ করে ঈশ্বরকে সন্তুষ্ট করতে পারে, তাহলে ঈশ্বর তাকে জ্ঞান, বিদ্যা ও আনন্দ দেন| কিন্তু য়ে পাপী সে শুধুই সংগ্রহ আর বহনের কাজ পাবে| মন্দ লোকের কাছ থেকে নিয়ে ঈশ্বর ভালো লোককে পুরস্কার দেন| কিন্তু সমস্ত কাজই অর্থহীন| সবই হাওযার পিছনে ছোটা|

For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

For to the one who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy, but to the sinner, he gives the task of amassing wealth— only to give it to the one who pleases God. This task of the wicked is futile— like chasing the wind!

ERVEN

If people do good and please God, he will give them wisdom, knowledge, and joy. But those who sin will get only the work of gathering and carrying things. God takes from the bad person and gives to the good person. But all this work is useless. It is like trying to catch the wind.
