উপদেশক 4:1

আমি দেখেছিলাম সূর্য়ের নীচে কি ভাবে লোকের ওপর উত্পীড়ন করা হয়ে থাকে| আমি তাদের কান্না শুনেছিলাম| আমি এও দেখেছিলাম য়ে তাদের এই দুর্দশায় সান্ত্বনা দেওয়ার মতো কেউই নেই| আমি দেখে ছিলাম কিভাবে নিষ্ঠুর লোকরা সমস্ত ক্ষমতার অধিকারী হয়ে বসে আছে| তারা যাদের আঘাত করছে তাদের সাহায্যের জন্য কেউ পাশে নেই|

So I again considered all the oppression that continually occurs on earth. This is what I saw: The oppressed were in tears, but no one was comforting them; no one delivers them from the power of their oppressors.

Again I saw that many people are treated badly. I saw their tears, and I saw that there was no one to comfort them. I saw that cruel people had all the power, and I saw that there was no one to comfort the people they hurt.
