আমি তখন দ্বাররক্ষীদের প্রতি শুক্রবার, ঠিক অন্ধকার নামার আগে জেরুশালেমের দরজাগুলি বন্ধ করে তালা দেবার নির্দেশ দিয়ে বলি শনিবারের পবিত্র দিনটি না কাটা পর্য়ন্ত য়েন দরজা কোনো মতেই খোলা না হয়| আমি আমার নিজের বিশ্বস্ত লোককে ফটকের কাছে রেখে দিলাম ও তাদের ফটকগুলোর ওপর লক্ষ্য রাখতে নির্দেশ দিই যাতে বিশ্রামের দিন জেরুশালেমে কোন বোঝা না বহন করে আনা হয়|

So this is what I did: Every Friday evening, just before dark, I commanded the gatekeepers to shut and lock the gates to Jerusalem. They were not to be opened until the Sabbath day was over. I put some of my own men at the gates. They were commanded to make sure that no load was brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day.
