বোয়স উত্তর দিল, “তোমার শাশুড়ি নয়মীকে তুমি কি রকম সেবা করেছ আমি সবই জানি| আমি জানি তোমার স্বামী মারা গেলেও তুমি তাকে কত সাহায্য করেছ| আর আমি এও জানি মাতাপিতা, নিজের দেশ সব কিছু ছেড়ে তুমি এখানে চলে এসেছ| এদেশের কাউকেই তুমি চেন না, তা সত্ত্বেও নয়মীর সঙ্গে তুমি এদেশে এসেছ|

"Yes, I know," Boaz replied. "But I also know about everything you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers.

Boaz replied to her, "I have been given a full report of all that you have done for your mother-in-law following the death of your husband— how you left your father and your mother, as well as your homeland, and came to live among people you did not know previously.

Boaz answered her, "I know about all the help you have given to your mother-inlaw Naomi. I know you helped her even after your husband died. And I know that you left your father and mother and your own country and came here to this country. You did not know anyone from this country, but you came here with Naomi.
