মানুষটি বললেন, “না, আমি শত্রু নই| আমি প্রভুর সৈন্যবাহিনীর সেনাধ্যক্ষ| আমি এইমাত্র তোমার কাছে এসেছি|”তখন যিহোশূয় তাঁকে সম্মান জানাতে মাথা নীচু করে বললেন, “আমি আপনার ভৃত্য| প্রভু কি আমার জন্য কোন আদেশ দিয়েছেন?”

And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

He answered, "Truly I am the commander of the LORD's army. Now I have arrived!" Joshua bowed down with his face to the ground and asked, "What does my master want to say to his servant?"

The man answered, "I am not an enemy. I am the commander of the Lord's army. I have just now come to you." Then Joshua bowed his face to the ground to show respect and said, "I am your servant. Does my master have a command for me?"
