যিহূদাকে য়ে দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছিল তা তার পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে ভাগ করে দেওয়া হল| দেশটি বিস্তৃত ছিল একদিকে ইদোমের সীমানা পর্য়ন্ত এবং অন্যদিকে দক্ষিণে তিম্নার ধার দিয়ে সিন মরুভূমি পর্য়ন্ত|
