যদি পোড়াবার আগে তা দিয়ে কোন কাজ না হল তবে এটা নিশ্চিত যে পোড়াবার পরেও তা কোন কাজে লাগবে না| তাই দ্রাক্ষালতার কাঠের টুকরোগুলো বনের বৃক্ষের কাঠের টুকরোর মতই| লোকরা সেই টুকরোগুলো আগুনে ফেলে দেয় আর আগুন তা পুড়িয়ে দেয়| সেইভাবেই, আমি জেরুশালেমে বাসকারী লোকদের আগুনে ছুঁড়ে ফেলব|” প্রভু আমার সদাপ্রভু এই সব কথা বলেছেন|
