কিন্তু যদি তার স্বামী তার প্রতিজ্ঞার কথা জানতে পারে এবং তাকে তার প্রতিজ্ঞা পালন করতে দিতে অসম্মত হয়, তাহলে সেই স্ত্রী যা প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিল সেই সমস্ত কাজ তাকে আর করতে হবে না| তার স্বামী তার স্ত্রীর প্রতিজ্ঞা ভঙ্গ করিযেছিল - সেই স্ত্রীকে তার প্রতিজ্ঞানুসারে কাজ করতে দেয নি, সুতরাং প্রভু তাকে ক্ষমা করবেন|

But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.

But if her husband refuses to accept her vow or impulsive pledge on the day he hears of it, he nullifies her commitments, and the LORD will forgive her.

But if when her husband hears it he overrules her, then he will nullify the vow she has taken, and whatever she uttered impulsively which she has pledged for herself. And the LORD will release her from it.

ERVEN

But if the husband hears about the promise and refuses to let her keep her promise, the wife does not have to do what she promised. Her husband broke the promise—he did not let her do what she said. So the Lord will forgive her.
