রাজাবলি ২ 7:17

রাজা তাঁর ঘনিষ্ঠ এক জন সেনাপতিকে, সেই যিনি আগে স্বর্গ ছেঁদা করার কথা বলেছিলেন, শহরের দরজা আগলানোর দায়িত্ব দিলেন| কিন্তু ততক্ষণে লোকরা শএুশিবির থেকে খাবার আনার জন্য দৌড়েছে| উন্মত্ত জনতা সেই সেনাপতিকে ঠেলে, মাড়িয়ে, পিষে চলে গেল| রাজার বাড়ীতে দেখা করতে আসার পর ইলীশায় যা দৈব্বাণী করেছিলেন সে সবই অক্ষরে অক্ষরে ফলে গেল|

The king appointed his officer to control the traffic at the gate, but he was knocked down and trampled to death as the people rushed out.So everything happened exactly as the man of God had predicted when the king came to his house.

Now the king had placed the officer who was his right-hand man at the city gate. When the people rushed out, they trampled him to death in the gate. This fulfilled the prophet's word which he had spoken when the king tried to arrest him.

There was one officer who always stayed close by the king to help him. The king sent this officer to guard the gate, but the people knocked him down and trampled him, and he died. So everything happened just as the man of God had said when the king came to Elisha's house.
