তখন অরামের রাজা বললেন, “ঠিক আছে, তুমি এখনই যাও| আমি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাকে একটা চিঠি দিচ্ছি|”নামান তখন 750 পাউণ্ড রূপো, 6,000 টুকরো সোনা আর দশ প্রস্থ পোশাক উপহার স্বরূপ নিলেন এবং ইস্রায়েলে গেলেন|
