একথা শুনে, ইলীশায় গেহসিকে বললেন, “কোমর বেঁধে তৈরি হও, আমার লাঠিটা নাও এবং এক্ষুনি যাও| পথে কারো সঙ্গে কথা বলার জন্য থেমো না| যদি কারো সঙ্গে দেখা হয়, “কি কেমন” পর্য়ন্ত বলার দরকার নেই| তোমাকেও কেউ বললে, কোন উত্তর দেবে না| মহিলার বাড়িতে পৌঁছে আমার লাঠিটা বাচচাটার মুখে ছুঁইযে দিও|”

Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.
