19. শমরিয়ায শহরগুলোয মূর্ত্তিসমূহের বেদীর আশেপাশে য়ে সমস্ত মন্দির গজিযে উঠেছিল য়োশিয সেগুলোও ভেঙে দিয়েছিলেন| ইস্রায়েলের আগেকার রাজা-রাজারা এই সমস্ত মন্দির বানিয়ে প্রভুকে খুবই অসন্তুষ্ট করে তুলেছিলেন| য়োশিয এই সব মন্দিরের দশা বৈথেলের বেদীর মতোই করেছিলেন|

19. Then Josiah demolished all the buildings at the pagan shrines in the towns of Samaria, just as he had done at Bethel. They had been built by the various kings of Israel and had made the LORD very angry.
