সিম্রিও যারবিয়ামের মতোই প্রভুর অনভিপ্রেত পাপাচরণ করেছিলেন ও ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের পারকার্য়্য়ের কারণ হয়েছিলেন| আর এই পাপের জন্যই সিম্রির মৃত্যু হল|
