দায়ূদ তাঁর স্ত্রী বত্‌শেবাকে সান্ত্বনা দিলেন| তিনি তাঁর সঙ্গে শুলেন এবং মিলিত হলেন| বত্‌শেবা পুনর্বার গর্ভবতী হলেন| তাঁর আর একটি সন্তান হল| দায়ূদ তার নাম রাখলেন শলোমন|
