শমূয়েল মারা গেল| সমস্ত ইস্রাযেলবাসীরা একত্রিত হল এবং শমূযেলের মৃত্যুর জন্যে শোক প্রকাশ করল| তারা শমূয়েলকে রামায় তার বাড়িতে কবর দিল| তারপর দায়ূদ পারণ মরুভূমির দিকে চলে গেলেন|
