তখন নামান বললেন, “আপনি যখন নিতান্তই কোন উপহার নেবেন না, অন্তত আমাকে ইস্রায়েল থেকে দু-টুকরি এখানকার ধূলো আমার দুটো খচচরের পিঠে চাপিয়ে নিয়ে য়েতে অনুমতি দিন| কারণ এরপর থেকে আমি আর কোন মূর্ত্তিকেই হোমবলি বা কোন নৈবেদ্য দেব না| আমি শুধুমাত্র প্রভুকেই বলিদান করব|

And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules’ burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

Then Naaman said, "If you will not accept this gift, at least do this for me. Let me have enough dirt from Israel to fill the baskets on two of my mules. Why? Because I will never again offer any burnt offering or sacrifice to any other gods. I will offer sacrifices only to the Lord!
