ইলীশায় সেটাকে জলের উত্‌সের কাছে নিয়ে গেলেন, লবণটা তাতে ফেলে দিলেন এবং বললেন, “প্রভু যা বলেন তা হল এই: ‘আমি এই জল পবিত্র করলাম! এরপর থেকে এই জল খেলে আর কারো মৃত্যু হবে না| এই জমিতেও এবার থেকে ফসল হবে|”‘

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
