34. বিন্হদদ তাঁকে বললেন, “আহাব, আমার পিতা তোমার পিতার কাছ থেকে য়ে সমস্ত শহর নিয়েছিলেন আমি সেই সমস্তই তোমাকে ফেরত্ দেব| আর তাছাড়া তুমি দম্মেশকে দোকান বসাতে পার য়েমন আমার পিতা শমরিয়ায বসিযে ছিলেন|”আহাব উত্তর দিলেন, “তুমি যদি এই প্রতিশ্রুতি দাও তাহলে আমি তোমাকে মুক্ত করে দিচ্ছি|” তারপর এই দুই রাজার মধ্যে শান্তি চুক্তি সাক্ষরিত হলে রাজা আহাব রাজা বিন্হদদকে মুক্তি দিলেন|

34. And [Ben-hadad] said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then [said Ahab,] I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.
