আসার মৃত্যুর পর তাঁকে তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে দায়ূদ নগরীতে কবর দেওয়া হল| এরপর আসার পুত্র যিহোশাফট নতুন রাজা হলেন|
