10:6. এরপর ইষ্রা ইলিয়াশীবের পুত্র য়িহোহাননের ঘরে প্রবেশ করলেন| য়েটুকু সময় ইষ্রা ওখানে ছিলেন, উনি কোন খাবার খেলেন না বা কিছু পান করলেন না, কারণ প্রত্যাগত বন্দীদের ঈশ্বরের বিধির প্রতি অনাস্থা বশতঃ তিনি তখনও দুঃখিত ও শোকসন্তপ্ত ছিলেন|

10:6. Then Ezra got up from in front of the temple of God and went to the room of Jehohanan son of Eliashib. While he stayed there, he did not eat food or drink water, for he was in mourning over the infidelity of the exiles.

10:6. Then Ezra left the front of the Temple of God and went to the room of Jehohanan son of Eliashib. He spent the night there without eating or drinking anything. He was still in mourning because of the unfaithfulness of the returned exiles.
