9:7. ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা এই হিব্বীয়দের বলল, “হতেও তো পারে য়ে, আপনারা আমাদের বোকা বানাতে চাইছেন| আপনারা হয়তো আমাদের দেশের কাছেই থাকেন| কিন্তু আমরা আপনাদের সঙ্গে কোন শান্তির চুক্তি করতে পারি না, যতক্ষণ না জানতে পারছি, আপনারা কোথা থেকে আসছেন|”

9:7. The men of Israel said to the Hivites, "Perhaps you live near us. So how can we make a treaty with you?"

9:7. The Israelites replied to these Hivites, "How do we know you don't live nearby? For if you do, we cannot make a treaty with you."
