24:15. “কিন্তু এমনও তো হতে পারে য়ে, তোমরা চাও না এই প্রভুর সেবা করতে| তাহলে আজই তোমরা নিজেরাই ঠিক করো কাকে তোমরা সেবা করবে| ফরাত্‌ নদীর অন্য পারে তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা য়েসব দেবতাদের পূজা করত তোমরা কি তাদের সেবা করবে, নাকি এদেশের ইমোরীয়রা য়ে সব দেবতাদের উপাসনা করত তাদের সেবা করবে? নিজেরাই সেটা ঠিক করো| কিন্তু আমি আর আমার পরিবার সম্পর্কে বলতে পারি, আমরা প্রভুরই সেবা করব|”

24:15. If you have no desire to worship the LORD, choose today whom you will worship, whether it be the gods whom your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. But I and my family will worship the LORD!"
