22:27. হচ্ছে বেদী তৈরীর উদ্দেশ্য তোমাদের জানানো য়ে আমরা সেই একই ঈশ্বরের উপাসনা করছি য়ে ঈশ্বর তোমাদের| এই বেদীই তোমাদের কাছে আমাদের কাছে আর আমাদের ভবিষ্যত্ বংশধরদের কাছে প্রমাণ করবে য়ে আমরাও প্রভুর উপাসনা করি| আমরা আমাদের নৈবেদ্য, শস্য নৈবেদ্য এবং মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য প্রভুকে উত্সর্গ করি| আমরা চাই য়ে তোমাদের সন্তানরা বড় হয়ে জানুক য়ে, আমরাও তোমাদের মতোই ইস্রায়েলবাসী|

22:27. but as a reminder to us and you, and to our descendants who follow us, that we will honor the LORD in his very presence with burnt offerings, sacrifices, and tokens of peace. Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to our descendants, 'You have no right to worship the LORD.'

22:27. The real reason we wanted our altar was to show our people that we worship the same God that you do. This altar will be the proof to you and us and to all our future children that we worship the Lord. We give our sacrifices, grain offerings, and fellowship offerings to the Lord. We wanted your children to grow up and know that we are also Israelites like yourselves.
