10:9. সৈন্যদল নিয়ে যিহোশূয় সারারাত গিবিয়োনে অভিযান চালালেন| শত্রুরা জানতে পারল না, যিহোশূয় আসছেন| তাই যিহোশূয় এবং তাঁর সৈন্যরা হঠাত্‌ তাদের আক্রমণ করল|
