9:26. খ্রীষ্ট যদি তাই করতেন তবে জগত্ সৃষ্টির সময় থেকে তাঁকে বারবার প্রাণ দিতে হত৷ খ্রীষ্ট এসে একবার নিজেকে উত্‌সর্গ করেছেন৷ সেই একবারই চিরন্তন কাজের সমাপ্তি হয়েছে৷ জগতের অন্তিম কালেই খ্রীষ্ট নিজেকে বলিরূপে উত্‌সর্গ করে লোকদের পাপনাশ করতে এলেন৷
