29:18. এ বিষয়ে নিশ্চিত হয়ো য়ে তোমাদের মধ্যে পুরুষ, নারী, পরিবার ও পরিবারগোষ্ঠী যারাই আজ এখানে রয়েছে, তাদের কেউ য়েন প্রভু আমাদের ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে দূরে সরে না যায়| কেউ য়েন অন্য জাতির দেবতাদের পূজা না করে| যারা তা করে তারা সেই গাছের মত যা বিষাক্ত তেতো ফল উত্পন্ন করে|

29:18. Beware that the heart of no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you turns away from the LORD our God today to pursue and serve the gods of those nations; beware that there is among you no root producing poisonous and bitter fruit.

29:18. I am making this covenant with you so that no one among you-- no man, woman, clan, or tribe-- will turn away from the LORD our God to worship these gods of other nations, and so that no root among you bears bitter and poisonous fruit.
