7:10. য়োষেফ সেখানে অনেক কষ্ট পেয়েছিলেন; কিন্তু ঈশ্বর তাকে তাঁর সমস্ত কষ্টের হাত থেকে উদ্ধার করলেন৷ ফরৌণ তখন মিশরের রাজা, য়োষেফের মধ্যে ঈশ্বরদত্ত বিজ্ঞতা দেখতে পেয়ে ফরৌণ তাঁকে পছন্দ করলেন৷ ফরৌণ য়োষেফকে মিশরের অধ্যক্ষরূপে নিযুক্ত করলেন, এমনকি ফরৌণের গৃহের সমস্ত পরিজনের উপরে তাকে কর্তা করলেন৷
