3:2. তখন প্রভুর দূত বললেন, “প্রভু তোমাকে ভর্ত্‌সনা করছেন এবং তিনি তোমাকে তিরস্কার করতে থাকবেন! প্রভু জেরুশালেমকে তাঁর বিশেষ শহর হিসেবে মনোনীত করেছেন| আগুন থেকে টেনে বের করা একটি জ্বলন্ত কাঠির মত তিনি ঐ শহর রক্ষা করেছেন|”

3:2. The LORD said to Satan, "May the LORD rebuke you, Satan! May the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Isn't this man like a burning stick snatched from the fire?"

3:2. And the LORD said to Satan, "I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire."
