2:7. কিন্তু হে যাকোবের বংশ, আমাকে অবশ্যই এই কথাগুলো বলতে হবে| তোমরা য়েসব খারাপ কাজ করেছো তার জন্য় প্রভু তাঁর ধৈর্য় হারিযে ফেলেছেন| য়দি তোমরা ঠিক ভাবে জীবনয়াপন করতে তাহলে আমি তোমাদের কাছে ভালো কথা বলতে পারতাম|

2:7. Does the family of Jacob say, 'The LORD's patience can't be exhausted— he would never do such things'? To be sure, my commands bring a reward for those who obey them,

2:7. Should you talk that way, O family of Israel? Will the LORD's Spirit have patience with such behavior? If you would do what is right, you would find my words comforting.

2:7. But people of Jacob, I must say these things. The Lord is losing his patience because of the bad things you did. If you lived right, then I could say nice words to you.
