20:21. “‘কিন্তু ঐ সন্তানরা আমার বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করল| তারা আমার বিধি পালন ও আদেশ রক্ষা করল না| আমি তাদের যা বলেছি তারা তা করেনি| ঐসব বিধি মঙ্গলের জন্য| যদি কোন ব্যক্তি তা পালন করে সে বাঁচবে| তারা আমার বিশ্রামের বিশেষ দিনকে কোন গুরুত্বই দেয়নি| তাই আমি তাদের মরুভূমিতে সম্পূর্ণরূপে ধ্বংস করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলাম যেন তারা আমার রোধর পূর্ণ মাত্রা বুঝতে পারে|

20:21. "'But the children rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out (the one who obeys them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.
