52:31. যিহূদার রাজা যিহোয়াখীন 37 বছর বাবিলের কারাগারে বন্দী ছিল| যিহোয়াখীনের কারাবাসের সাঁইত্রিশতম বর্ষে বাবিলের রাজা ইবিল মরোদক করুণা করে তাকে মুক্তি দেন| তিনি দ্বাদশ মাসের 25 তম দিনে যিহোয়াখীনকে মুক্তি দেন| ইবিল ঐ বছরেই বাবিলের রাজা হয়েছিল|

52:31. In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of King Jehoiachin of Judah, on the twenty-fifth day of the twelfth month, Evil-Merodach, in the first year of his reign, pardoned King Jehoiachin of Judah and released him from prison.

52:31. King Jehoiachin of Judah was in prison in Babylon for 37 years. In the 37 year of his imprisonment, King Evil Merodach of Babylon was very kind to Jehoiachin. He let Jehoiachin out of prison in that year. This was the same year that Evil Merodach became king of Babylon. He set Jehoiachin free from prison on the 25 day of the 12 month.
