5:9. তখন আমি তাদের বললাম, “তোমরা যা করছ, সেটা সঠিক কাজ নয়| তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা ও ভয় থাকা প্রয়োজন| অন্যান্য জাতিরা যে সব লজ্জাজনক কাজ করছে সেসব তোমাদের করা উচিত্‌ নয়|

5:9. Then I said, "The thing that you are doing is wrong! Should you not conduct yourselves in the fear of our God in order to avoid the reproach of the Gentiles who are our enemies?

5:9. Then I pressed further, "What you are doing is not right! Should you not walk in the fear of our God in order to avoid being mocked by enemy nations?

5:9. Also I said, The thing that ye do is not good: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the nations our enemies?
