19:2. দায়ূদ তখন বললেন, “নাহশের সঙ্গে আমার বন্ধুর সম্পর্ক ছিল, এই শোকের সময় তাঁর পুত্র হানূনকে আমার সহানুভূতি দেখানো কর্তব্য|” এই বলে তিনি অম্মোনে হানূনকে সমবেদনা জানাতে বার্তাবাহক পাঠালেন|

19:2. David said, "I will express my loyalty to Hanun son of Nahash, for his father was loyal to me." So David sent messengers to express his sympathy over his father's death. When David's servants entered Ammonite territory to visit Hanun and express the king's sympathy,

19:2. And David said, I will show kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father showed kindness to me. So David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. And Davids servants came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.
