3:1. প্রভু ঈশ্বর যত রকম বন্য প্রাণী সৃষ্টি করেছিলেন সে সবগুলোর মধ্যে সাপ সবচেয়ে চালাক ছিল| সাপ সেই নারীর সঙ্গে একটা চালাকি করতে চাইল| একদিন সাপটা সেই নারীকে জিজ্ঞেস করল, “নারী, ঈশ্বর কি বাগানের কোনও গাছের ফল না খেতে সত্যিই আদেশ দিয়েছেন?”

3:1. Now the serpent was more shrewd than any of the wild animals that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Is it really true that God said, 'You must not eat from any tree of the orchard'?"
