21:23. সুতরাং ঈশ্বরের সাক্ষাতে তুমি আমায় একটা প্রতিশ্রুতি দাও| প্রতিজ্ঞা করো য়ে তুমি আমার ও আমার সন্তানসন্ততির প্রতি ন্যায়পরায়ণ থাকবে| প্রতিশ্রুতি দাও য়ে তুমি আমার প্রতি এবং য়ে দেশে বাস করছ সেই দেশের প্রতি ন্যায়পরায়ণ হবে| প্রতিশ্রুতি দাও য়ে আমি তোমার প্রতি য়েরকম ন্যায়পরায়ণ, তুমিও আমার প্রতি সেরকম ন্যায়পরায়ণ হবে|”

21:23. Now swear to me right here in God's name that you will not deceive me, my children, or my descendants. Show me, and the land where you are staying, the same loyalty that I have shown you."
